Bill Fontenot, President, St. Landry Parish, is releasing the estimated start dates for the road work contained within Phase 1 of the Smooth Ride Home rural road improvement program. The schedule was completed by the program's engineering firms along with the construction companies who were awarded the contracts through the public bid process.

Some work has already been completed on a few of the roads, West Atchafalaya, Acadiana and Austin.  All estimated start dates are subject to change based on weather delays and other circumstances beyond our control.

Roads that are marked TBD do not require any major pipe and culvert work. They are included in Phase I of the Smooth Ride Home program and only require patching and/or paving overlay work. The scheduled start date is yet To Be Determined and we will provide updates as work progresses.

Please feel free to contact the St. Landry Parish Government offices at 337.948.3688 regarding questions or additional information.
Thank you.
