St. Landry Parish Government - Working Together for Better Communities

The Louisiana Cultural Economy Foundation has received a grant through the National Endowment for the Arts to study the viability of transforming the former St. Luke’s Hospital in Arnaudville into a French and cultural immersion campus and creative industries incubator as well as developing a cultural master plan for the town of Arnaudville as well as the surrounding region in both St. Landry and St. Martin parishes.

St. Landry Parish opened the second set of bids for its Smooth Ride Home program designed to upgrade hundreds of miles of bad roads throughout the parish. Prairie Contractors of Opelousas and Coastal Bridge of Baton Rouge were the two low-bidding companies awarded the project.
